About Me

My Story

This slideshow is a tribute to the remarkable life of Holly Tanisha Dixon, affectionately known as HD. A woman of strength, ambition, and authenticity, Holly was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence left a lasting impact on all who knew her. From her roots in Washington, DC, to her academic achievements at Dunbar High School, Clark Atlanta University, DeVry Institute of Technology, and Strayer University, Holly’s pursuit of knowledge and excellence was unwavering. An athlete, an entrepreneur, and a dedicated IT professional, she wore many hats throughout her journey—always with determination and a touch of mystery, true to the meaning of her middle name. Holly’s adventurous spirit was evident in her travels, her love of music, and her deep appreciation for literature and film. She was a provider, protector, and passionate advocate, especially for her sister TJ and her cherished nieces and nephews. She built lifelong friendships and carried a community in her heart wherever she went. As we celebrate Holly’s life, let these images serve as a reflection of her resilience, love, and the joy she brought to those around her. May we carry forward her legacy of authenticity, ambition, and devotion to family and friends.
